North Bar Rewards – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of the North Bar Rewards app (“App”), operated by North Bar Consulting Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, registering or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & Access

• You must be 18 years or older to use the App.
• The App is intended for use in the United Kingdom only.
• We may refuse, suspend or close accounts where we believe the Terms have been breached.

2. The Rewards Scheme

• You earn 5% cashback (“Rewards”) on purchases made at participating North Bar venues.
• Rewards are credited to your App account and can be redeemed against future purchases in our venues.
• Rewards cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Rewards expire 12 months after the date they are earned unless used.
• From time to time, we may run additional offers or promotions; these may be subject to separate terms.
• We reserve the right to amend or withdraw the Rewards scheme, offers, or benefits at any time.

3. Fair Use & Misuse

• Accounts are for personal use only.
• You must not:
   
  • Create multiple accounts.
  • Transfer or sell your account or Rewards.
  • Use your account to claim Rewards on purchases made by others (unless the purchase is genuinely yours).
  • Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or dishonest activity.
• Staff are not permitted to use their account to collect Rewards on customer transactions.
• We may adjust, cancel, or remove Rewards (including retrospectively) if we reasonably believe they were earned through misuse.

4. Payments & Balances

• Rewards are applied automatically when you pay using methods linked to the App or scan your account at purchase.
• Rewards balances are non-transferable and have no cash value.
• Payments within the App (if enabled) are processed by Braintree. We do not store or handle your payment card details directly.

5. Our Rights

• We may suspend, restrict, or close your account at any time if we believe you have breached these Terms.
• We may change, suspend, or end the App or the Rewards scheme at our discretion.

6. Data & Privacy

• Your personal information will be used in line with our Privacy Policy available at [insert website link].
• The App has been developed by Zonal, who may process some data on our behalf.
• Payment services are provided by Braintree, subject to their own terms and policies.

7. Liability

• We are not responsible for:
   
  • Any failure of the App, or delays caused by technical issues.
  • Lost, expired, or deleted Rewards.
  • Indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of profit, opportunity, or data).
• Our liability to you in connection with the App is limited to the value of Rewards in your account at the time of the claim.
• Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else the law says we cannot exclude.

8. Changes to the Terms

• We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available in the App and on our website.
• Continued use of the App means you accept any updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
• Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Promoters – This competition is run jointly by North Bar Consulting Ltd, 24 New Briggate, Leeds, LS1 6NU and Fyne Ales, Achadunan, Cairndow, Argyll PA26 8BJ.
Eligibility – Open to UK residents aged 18 or over only. Employees of North Bar Consulting Ltd, Fyne Ales, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
Entry period – Opens 12:00am Tuesday 1st April 2025 and closes 11:59pm Wednesday 30th April 2025. Entries received outside this period will not be valid.
How to enter – There are two ways to enter:
Purchase entry: Purchase a pint of Fyne Ales Jarl cask ale at any participating North Bar site using the North Bar loyalty app during the entry period. One entry per transaction. Participating sites are: 1. North Bar (flagship, Leeds city centre) 24 New Briggate, Leeds, LS1 6NU
2. Further North (Chapel Allerton) 194 Harrogate Road, Chapel Allerton, Leeds, LS7 4NZ
3. Alfred (Meanwood) 6 Stonegate Road, Leeds, LS6 4HY
4. Preston (Oakwood) 468 Roundhay Road, Leeds, LS8 2HU
5. North Bar Social (Otley) 8–10 Bondgate, Otley, LS21 3AB
6. North Bar Harrogate 2d Cheltenham Parade, Harrogate, HG1 1DA
7. North Bar: Circle Square (Manchester) Circle Square, Manchester, M1 7FT.
Free entry: Like and comment on the designated competition post on relevant North Bar Consulting Ltd Instagram posts and follow all collaborating social media accounts. No purchase is necessary to enter via this route. Free entry is subject to the terms of the relevant social media platform(s) and these promotions are in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by them.
Prize – Seven prizes are available, each consisting of one pair of tickets to Fyne Fest [29-31 May 2026, Fyne Ales Brewery, Achadunan, Cairndow, Argyll, PA26 8BJ]. One pair of tickets is allocated per participating North Bar site. Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. Both ticket holders must be aged 18 or over.
Winner selection – Winners will be selected at random from all valid entries received per site. The draw will take place on 1st May 2026 and winners will be notified by email on 1st May 2026. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 7 days, a replacement winner may be drawn.
General – The promoters reserve the right to withdraw or amend the competition in the event of circumstances beyond their reasonable control. Winners may be required to provide proof of age and identity. By entering, participants agree to these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
