The Role

We’re looking for an Assistant Manager who can run the floor, support the GM, and genuinely influence how the bar feels, performs, and grows.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Running the floor – leading service, setting the tone, making sure every shift lands
• Supporting the GM – helping drive performance, standards, and team culture
• Owning the guest experience – making sure table service is sharp, natural, and memorable
• Building the team – training, coaching, and getting the best out of people
• Keeping things tight – stock, systems, standards, and day-to-day organisation
• Problem solving in real time – no drama, just solutions

  What We’re Looking For

You don’t need to tick every box — but you do need to bring the right mindset.

• Experience in a busy bar or hospitality environment
• Confident leading shifts and supporting a team
• Strong presence on the floor — people listen when you speak
• Organised, proactive, and calm under pressure
• Genuine passion for hospitality (not just “a job”)
• Solid knowledge of beer (or a real willingness to learn quickly)
• Nice to Have (But Not Essential)
• Personal licence
• Spirits / wine knowledge
• Social media awareness
• Barista skills
• Health & safety / food hygiene knowledge
