North opened in 1997 and through the years it’s been ever so many things to ever so many people. Having moved on from being the UK’s top account for Kronenbourg 1664 (at it’s time it was the newest and most exotic beer anyone could get hold of!) North became the leading light for imported craft beers from the continent and the US and still boasts the finest, most interesting and comprehensive selection of beers in the North of England. North is not a stuffy ‘beer bar’ though, the drink fanatacism extends to the spirits selection, the finest whisky selection in town as well as cocktails and soft drinks too.
Winner of the Observer Food Monthly ‘Best place to drink in the UK’ and regular haunt of superstars of stage and screen as well as the most diverse clientle in town and lovers of great drinks, eclectic music and engaging art exhibitions.
Monday – Tuesday : 11.00 – 01.00
Wednesday – Saturday : 11.00 – 02.00
Sunday : 12.00 – 12.00
